How to get to Corse with bike ?
Get international bus or train to Firenze.
From Firenze take direct train to Livorno. You can also take train with change in Pisa and take a break in Pisa going there or back. If you decide to make a brake, count with break up to 4 hrs. After ticket validation, it is valid for 6 hrs. Livorno - Pisa takes 15mins. Pisa - Firenze takes 60mins. Livorno - Firenze costs 6,5 EUR per passenger and 24hrs ticket for bike costs 3,5 EUR.
Go to Livorno Central station and board on ferry. You can choose from Corsica Ferries and Moby lines. In low season it is no problem to buy ferrry ticket in port in last minute (for the full price). It costs 35EUR/person+bike using Moby. CF is ususally cheaper. Livorno - Bastia ferry takes 4 hrs.
In Bastia, you can start your Corse adventures.
In way back, you can go back same ferry line (Bastia - Livorno) or you can move to Sardegna first and than back to Italy. From Bonifaccio in Corse, you can go to Santa Theresa in Sardegna for 19EUR/pers.+bike, bike 100km on Sardegnas roads and go by ferry from Golfo Aranci for 42EUR/pers.+bike or from Olbia to Livorno. It is effective to take overnight (22-7hrs) ship to save a day.
